Dye Unfinished Wood with Kool Aid

Have you seen the little unfinished wood boxes they sometimes have at Dollar Tree?  There are so many crafty possibilities for decorating them!  One way to give them some personality is by adding a little color - using Kool Aid!  Laura from Pet Scribbles turned a plain wooden box into a purple chest for little treasures using a packet of grape Kool Aid, a use for that stuff I never would have thought to try!  (Does anyone else remember dying their hair with Kool Aid in high school?)
